How to remove the .NET Framework Assistant for Firefox

Microsoft has been installing an add-on named “.NET Framework Assistant” in Firefox which is designed for ClickOnce technology. This has been upsetting to many Firefox users because it’s sneaky and unsecure, this type of behaviour is similar to malware or spyware, there’s no uninstall button to remove the add-on.

You can now properly remove it with the instructions provided by Microsoft:
